Our Church

Grace Lighthouse Church is an independent evangelical church in East Wareham, Massachusetts. We are a Bible-believing, Gospel-preaching church with a vision to share Christ with the world and help believers grow and thrive. Click here for our full statement on what we believe.

Reverend David Beguerie has been our full-time pastor since 2016. He is committed to teaching God’s Word and reaching out to the community.

Our Pastor

David came to know and trust Jesus Christ for salvation in 1986 and has continued to grow in grace and knowledge of the Scriptures ever since. Since 1990, David has had the privilege of working with a number of national ministries and radio organizations such as Child Evangelism Fellowship, Trans World Radio, and Songtime USA with John DeBrine, as well as developing the national radio ministry for Iron Sharpens Iron. He is the producer and co-host of the daily broadcast New Man, based on 2 Corinthians 5:17 on RenewFM.

Pastor Dave is first and foremost committed to the Bible above any other text, for God’s Word has everything necessary to grow up into all things in Christ. He is committed to rightly dividing the Word of Truth as Paul instructed Timothy (2 Timothy 2:15).  With the Lord’s empowerment, He loves to teach and preach the Word of God. He has served in numerous leadership positions in three churches over the last twenty-two years, with a calling on his life to shepherd the local church. His wife and children serve alongside him.

The Rest of the Beguerie Family

Beth Beguerie has always had a heart to serve in ministry. She was saved at an early age, and served on two summer-long missions trips as a teenager with Teen Missions International, sharing the Gospel of Christ with the people of France and Norway.

In her twenties, Beth spent time in Mexico and in New Sweden, Maine, teaching Vacation Bible School.  She served many summers at First Baptist Church of Duxbury teaching VBS, and she taught for five years at a Christian preschool. She now supports and serves alongside her husband in ministry at Grace Lighthouse Church. Listen to her testimony below.

Beth and David married in the spring of 1996, moved to Bourne in 1999, had their daughter Amanda in 2000, and their son Aaron in 2002. Beth had a long battle with Leukemia over a two-year period, and had a bone marrow transplant in 2007. Since then, she has been cancer-free. She lives to share the goodness and faithfulness of God with the world around her.

The Beguerie family praises God for all He has done in their lives, as they have seen His continued faithfulness to their family in numerous ways.

Amanda Beguerie is twenty-one years old, and serves the Lord through her writing, graphic design, and worship leading. She has a blog, Scattered Journal Pages, where she writes personal essays about the Christian life. Follow along at scatteredjournalpages.com.

Aaron Beguerie is eighteen years old, and loves God with his whole heart. He enjoys memorizing and reciting scripture, praying, and blessing others with his musical abilities.
